Traffic Control Systems
The IDS HIGH-LEIT SCADA system is designed for a multitude of tasks in traffic control systems. In railway transport, for instance, IDS HIGH-LEIT is used for the monitoring of traction power control systems, both in a.c. supply networks (German Rail) and d.c. supply networks (public local transport services). In the event of faults – e.g. due to construction works – the railway control centre makes the necessary switchovers to stand-by cables and feeders.
IDS HIGH-LEIT can be used in the following areas:
- Traction power supply
- Inland water transport
- Motorway installations
- Tunnel control
Automation and Telecontrol Systems
In addition to the IDS and ACOS 7 product families for automation and telemetry, our range of products for traffic control also includes the local control system for overhead line networks (U 100 - OSE) of German Rail and a data concentrator (U100 – DAKO).
