Stadtwerke München operate a TETRA network in the Munich metropolitan area and provide this network to other infrastructure companies for data and voice communication.
Project Description:
Various automation and communication tasks in the Munich metropolitan area, including, but not limited to,
- Munich Municipal Utility (Stadtwerke München),
- Munich Tram Company (Münchner Straßenbahn),
- Munich Wastewater Company (Münchner Stadtentwässerung),
- Munich Water Supply Company (Münchner Wasserversorgung) and
- South Bavarian Natural Gas Company (Erdgas Südbayern)
Scope of Supply:
Ca. 200 TETRA data radio modems
Remarks/Special Featurers:
Data transmission within telecontrol and automation systems from different manufacturers (IDS GmbH, TCE GmbH and Siemens AG). Data transmission takes place in the SDS mode (standard mode) and, alternatively, in the PDA mode.
