TETRA Radio Modems CE 100 TM and CE 100 TMS/TMW/TMG
The modems CE 100 TM and CE 100 TMS/TWM/TMG are designed for delivering TETRA capability to telecontrol and automation equipment.
The IEC 60870-5-101/104 protocols are supported in connection with ControlExpert equipment. Furthermore, the following applications can be implemented:
- SDS (Short Data Service)
- PDA (Packet Data Application)
- Point-to-point
- Point-to-multipoint
The CE 100 TM modem is particularly suitable for customers who already own telecontrol and automation devices from the ControlExpert product family.
The CE 100 TMW/TMS/TMG modem can be used either as a transparent modem for terminals with protocol compatibility for IEC 60870-5-101, Sinaut ST1 and ST7 as well as FT 1.2, or as dial-up modem (GSM, analog, ISDN). If it is used instead of a dial-up modem, it is controlled via AT command from the terminal, and transmits any type of protocol. In the TMG mode, terminals with Ethernet interface and TCO/IP protocols can communicate via TETRA radio. The integrated NAT (Network Address Translation) function enables end-to-end communication via TETRA without adaptation of the IP address.
