Energy Consumption Planning
Based on the consumed energy quantities and cost centres recorded in ACOS ECS, a medium- and long-term plan for the expected energy consumption is carried out on an annual basis. The planning term usually comprises the coming five years, and planning tasks include the following:
- Planning of medium- and long-term energy consumption according to cost centres
- Central compilation and transmission of energy consumption and planning data
- Shared database together with the energy billing system
Planners have access to previous consumption data and can register the required energy quantities of their cost centres. If the required quantities deviate too strongly from historical consumption quantities, these deviations have to be accounted for. Once inputting of the cost centres is finished, the planned energy quantities are released by system administrators to downstream systems via interface.
The energy consumption planning function is based on the data from the energy billing tool; it is available as an optional module, making use of the existing data structures and of the defined user rights.
