Acquisition and Management of Data
ACOS ECS can be used for the management of all types of energy and media, as well as their metering points and metering equipment. Consumption data are acquired manually or automatically via different interfaces. The following methods of data acquisition are available:
- Automatic data acquisition, e.g. via ODBC
- Semi-automatic data acquisition via mobile terminals
- Manual input of meter readings or energy quantities via web-based user interface
Each input is directly checked for plausibility. In the case of automatic data acquisition, the plausibility check is done via calculations in the background. With manual data acquisition, the user making the inputs is advised of possibly inaccurate entries.
