ACOS 710/720 - Compact RTUs
The decentralized generation, distribution and storage of energy from renewable sources can be controlled and monitored by means of intelligent power grids (Smart Grids), thereby ensuring a secure power supply despite the volatility of these resources.
ACOS 710 and 720 have been specially designed to meet the requirements related to distributed energy resources (DER), as well as those resulting from the German Renewable Energy Act (EEG) and the German Heat-Power Cogeneration Act (KWKG). The following devices will be available in 2011:
ACOS 710
The compact RTU ACOS 710 serves as a starting tool with a defined function and performance range, and has the following features:
- Plastic housing for direct mounting on TS35 mounting rail
- Two serial RS232 interfaces
- One network interface
- Integrated Quad-band GSM/GPRS modem (optional)
- Comprehensive communication applications
for telecontrol and field bus protocols - microSD Card for data storage and archiving
- Integrated I/O level with 4 digital inputs, 4 digital outputs,
2 analog inputs and 1 analog output - Supply voltage: 24V DC or 230V AC
ACOS 720
