Basic Functions of the HIGH-LEIT SCADA System
IDS HIGH-LEIT stands for a control system concept which especially offers a high degree of functionality and safety, as well as user-friendly solutions for all tasks related to process visualisation, monitoring, control and automation.
The IDS HIGH-LEIT user interface is completely integrated into the Windows user environment. The uniform “Look and Feel” design makes it considerably easier for the user to familiarise himself with the system. Thanks to the multitasking features of the Windows operating system, the user is able to simultaneously open several applications and to “jump” to and fro between them. All functions can be selected and activated via toolbars and pull-down menus.
The IDS HIGH-LEIT SCADA system is based on an open system concept with standardised interfaces (TCP/IP, SQL, ODBC, IEC 60870-5, TASE.2, OPC, ...), thereby facilitating the connection to different types of network structures.
