Advanced Application: Heat
HIGH-LEIT can be used for the optimised control of heat supply plants and combined heat and power plants. All the parameters of the local PLCs can be adjusted via the SCADA system. Parameters from other areas (e.g. electricity priority) are automatically taken into account.
For local and district heating, HIGH-LEIT includes functionalities for forecasting the heat requirements and for the optimisation of heat generation and distribution. Local controls can be integrated into the superordinate optimisation function.
The compact telecontrol devices IDS 640 and IDS 650 are particularly suitable for use in area telecontrol systems for heating applications; the automation and telecontrol device IDS 850 can be used for larger stations. Already existing controllers in heat transfer stations can be serially connected.
