IDS Forum „Fit for the Future“ on 29 Oct 2008 in Velen (Northern Germany)

The first local IDS forum in Velen/North-Rhine Westphalia was held on 29 Oct 2008 and got  a thoroughly positive feedback from the 25 participants. In the course of this forum, participants had the opportunity to exchange their experiences and discuss solutions and new product developments.

In his opening speech, the head of sales, Mr Henry Rahn, began by introducing IDS GmbH and himself and his company colleagues. Following that, he highlighted the company’s current situation with numerous interesting details and continued with an outlook of future goals.

After Mr Rahn’s introductory note, the specialists from IDS presented a straightforward and practical overview of the numerous applications of IDS products. During their speeches and two live demonstrations, they provided tips and tricks for automation and telecontrol engineering and answered the participants’ more detailed questions. Moreover, they gave an overview of current developments concerning fault and maintenance management and of solutions for communications applications.

During the intermissions, participants had the opportunity to exchange information and experience and to visit the company’s exhibition on products and solutions.

A lunch with hot and cold beverages in the Schlossrestaurant provided further opportunity for in-depth chats and discussions.
