ETG/FNN Tutorial on SCADA and Protection Systems in Ulm (June 09 – 10, 2010)
The “SCADA and Protection Systems” tutorial takes place on a regular basis and is highly regarded amongst experts and professionals. This year’s tutorial will be held in Ulm/S. Germany on June 09 and 10; for the first time it will be organized by the Forum Netztechnik/Netzbetrieb (FNN) of the German Association of or Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies (VDE).
A joint commission has compiled a broad range of suggestions for topics and talks to guarantee lively discussions. National and international experts on SCADA and protection systems are going to present current results and future developments.
For the first time, this symposium offers a “poster session” as a unique opportunity – particularly for research and scientific organizations – to showcase their activities and results to a wider public. Contributions in poster form can be submitted on the following subjects:
- Neutral-point connection
- Decentralized feed-in and Smart Grids
- Grid stability
- IEC 61850 and intelligent test methods
Please send your suggestions for poster presentations – not later than 31 January 2010 – to thomas.kumm[at]]vde[dot]]com or fnn[at]]vde[dot]]com. Your proposals will be reviewed and selected for presentation by the program commission.

PMRmobil (May 18 – 20, 2010)
We are looking forward to welcoming you to “PMRmobil 2010“, a series of conferences and events focusing on news and developments focussing on mobile radio applications. These events – formerly known under the header “TETRA on Tour” - are organized by the Verband Professioneller Mobilfunk e.V./PMeV (German Association of Professional Mobile Radio) and have become successfully established as a meeting point for users and providers of professional mobile radio. On this year’s “PMRmobil” providers and users will again share their experience with professional mobile radio systems with you.
