GÖRLITZ AG is the metering technology specialist within the IDS Group and offer innovative solutions for smart metering, AMR, EDM and MDM.
Back in the early seventies our main activities were interface projects for medical analysis systems, warehouse logistics and security technology. We have since evolved to become a leading manufacturer of metering systems, providing qualified metering data for business management systems. The industrial and energy sector throughout Europe makes use of this expertise and deploys hardware and software from the Koblenz-based company to record, transmit, and process data relevant to energy delivery and consumption. The GÖRLITZ Group comprises subsidiaries in Austria, Benelux, Denmark, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. Berg GmbH, located near Munich, provides installations and systems for energy monitoring and cost control in the Industrial & Commercial (I&C) sector. The most recent entrepreneurial undertaking is GÖRLITZ Mobility Solutions GmbH which, as its name implies, is dedicated to finding solutions in the field of electro-mobility.

Our staff are deeply involved in more than 870 projects throughout Europe. Products like EDW3000, the software solution to our leading AMR system, had no less than 2,500 man years invested in its development. More than half of the remote meter reading devices installed in I&C customers in Germany have come from our production department. Support and services for our customers have top priority, daily and round the clock. Such business activities are upon long-term ties with both customers and workforce. That our team is our knowledge base is not merely a cliché, a high-degree of knowledge and development characterises all our product teams. Our responsibilities extend not only to products, solutions and customers, but of course to the families of our employees. The sustainable added value created in our company contributes to the well-being of over 500 people.
