In 2008, IDS GmbH have strengthened their position on the market as a specialist for grid management as well as control systems, automation, telemetry and communication systems.

IDS offers solutions for energy supply systems from one single source and develop open, customised  solutions based on international standards (Microsoft operating systems, data transmission protocols according to IEC 60870 and IEC 61850 standards), thereby ensuring the quick implementation of projects on the basis of the current market requirements as well as a smooth and trouble-free IT integration for all areas of the workplace.
Customer orientation is our purpose – our nationwide network of service and sales agencies in Germany ensures customer proximity as well a short reaction times in the event of faults.

We at IDS place great emphasis on a qualified information service for our clients. For this purpose, our sales representatives and project engineers are always in direct contact with the customer. Furthermore, we participate in national and international symposiums, conferences and trade fairs to demonstrate our range of products and services, as well as providing a wide range of training seminars at our training centre where customers can familiarize themselves with IDS technology.

With IDS branches and sales partners all over Europe and overseas, our target is to serve an increasingly international market. In the areas of transport and supply of electricity, gas, oil, water and other media, the growing trend towards liberalization makes new demands on automation systems, which can be implemented only through high-quality solutions. Within the framework of international projects, IDS increasingly offers and supplies complete solutions which go beyond the IDS range of products, and which include software applications for a variety of processes in the business environment and for other trades.
